The models are showing a noisy weekend for much of the state. It looks like we may have at least 3 rounds of storms (some strong to severe) starting Saturday morning. The greatest threat for severe weather Saturday morning would be in northwest Ohio. However the threat will shift south for late Saturday night into Sunday. All of this is being fueled by yet more unusually strong cold fronts that will be moving into the state late into the weekend and next week with another big drop in temperatures as we end July. Before the cool air gets here, summer and fall seasons are going to battle it out this weekend. We will keep you posted as the timing of any severe weather threat becomes more clear. Below are a couple of time periods from the NAM-WRF model, which shows one cluster of storms moving through Saturday morning... with another cluster approaching Ohio after midnight Saturday night. Looks like Im going to have a busy weekend. Stay tuned!
