The moment after you slip behind the parted curtain of death, you will either be enjoying a personal welcome from Christ or catching your first glimpse of gloom as you have never known it. Either way, your future will be irrevocably fixed and eternally unchangeable. How can you be assured an eternal place in Heaven? By repenting from a life of sin and turning to a life trusting in Christ. Would you skydive without a parachute? Of course not! But we are all flying on the airplane of life and no one knows the day or hour we must jump (Die). Can you afford not to be wearing a parachute when that day arrives? Jesus Christ is the parachute that saves us from free falling into hell at the time of our death. Put off sin and put on Christ and be saved! How do I ask Him into my life? Pray Prayer is simply talking to God, not magic words. Your prayer should be your own, from your own heart. If youre not in the habit of praying, though, you may need an example. Such a prayer may go something like this: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I was made for You, but Ive been living for me. I want to begin a relationship with You now. I believe that You died in my place, to pay the penalty for my sin, and rose again for my salvation. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen. You can belong to God from today on if you will tell Him with all your heart. Heres what to do from here... You prayed, committing your life to Christ. What does the Bible say happened? You are saved - Jesus said, I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved (John 10:9, KJV). You are a child of God - The Bible says: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12, KJV). You have everlasting life - The Bible says: For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16, KJV). It is essential that you seek other sincere, Bible-believing Christians to help you sustain your resolve. Both individual Christian friends and a solid, Bible-based Christian church are essential.
