The more you allow the Holy Spirit to teach you the more you will question what you hear and see. When you allow Him to teach you like they did at the beginning the message of the gospel will firmly be rooted in truth so you can discern truth from error. Case in point when was the last time you read any of the letters in completeness? Take time from Acts on. Each letter is written for a reason. A lot had to do with clearing up false teaching and errors within the body of Christ.after going thru 1 Corinthians up to chapter 14 you have alot of question to be answered if your wanting to know truth and to discern its meaning. It does not take long to read. The answers stir up alot in regard to what is truth and what is error and traditions. Paul was doing alot of correcting at this fellowship because they had big issues. We have got to read this book in context and look at the argument that Paul brings up on the several topics in just those chapters. That truth will cause you to either humble yourself or harden your heart from your understanding. I hope you desire truth over anything else.
