The most important news now is the approaching typhoon. So that everyone will be prepared, general mass media should be updating at least every hour, while news channels should be updating every 15 minutes. Latest forecasts say the typhoon will most likely hit PH but nobody yet can say where it will make landfall (there is still a hopeful chance that it will re-curve and avoid PH, though). Updates should be on typhoon movements and strengths, as well as pushing on preparations that must be made by LGUs and national government agencies involved. This is a matter of life and death. If your favorite TV or radio channel news programs now still devote more time on political non-sense and celebrity gossip than on weather, then you will know what our problem really is.
