The most policed and heavily fortified border in the world is the boundaries that divide social classes. Ninety-seven percent to ninety-nine percent, that is 97% - 99%, of the population in most nations live and dies in the social classes they were born into. Numbers don’t lie. Statistics don’t blink. A big chunk of our life outcome was decided way before we were born by the dice of destiny in the game-of-chance that decided who your parents will be and what social class you will be born into. And thereafter, you are expected to stay in your lane. Maintain your position. As straying too far have always in the past, and will continue to in the future, land many in jail cell, psychiatric hospital, and the record book of ‘early death’. I know what you are now thinking. But wait a minute before you run with that thought. The very thought that you are exceptional, that you are an exception to the rule, that you will be amongst the 1 to 3 percent in each generation that successfully smuggle themselves legally or illegally across the heavily policed boundaries of social classes is often a consoling illusion or a soothing delusion that keeps many from descending into the depth of a hopeless reality that is gnashing at their innards and eating them alive (Eziza O Eziza, 2013)
