The mothers of most of the 12 Shia Imams (as) were freed slaves & non-Arabs - #ImamMahdi atfs has African, Persian, Berber, Arab, et al ancestry Mateen J. Charbonneau: Allah says in the Quran, the Prophet Muhammad (sawa) was a messenger for all of mankind (quran 34:28). Islam is a universal message for all of humanity. As we see in this video, the Aimma (as) married women who belonged to different races and several of their wives were also from Africa. These women are mentioned in the history for their great knowledge and piety and these great women became the mothers of some of our Aimma (as). These examples that the Aimma (as) set forth destroy the racist ideology that a person should not marry outside of their own ethnicity. As Sheikh Safdar Razi stated, the 12th Imam (atf) will have a very diverse background and will be from the lineage of Arab, African, Roman and Persian ancestry. He is a universal leader for all of humanity and will bring justice to the world and reform the corrupt ideologies. May Allah hasten his reappearance.
