The movie screening of "Islamic Art, Mirror of the Invisible World" hosted by MCOR was a huge success. I am overwhelmed by the turn out. More than 100 people?? I am so grateful to my Co Chair John Bock for manning the projector and the sound system, Jian Li and Graciella Katzer for their help. Council Woman Andre Davidsonfor being there and introducing our speaker Tasnim Ben Halim , Co Founder of IARS , and to Tasnim for introducing the documentary and giving its back ground, Tasneem Hafiz for providing the glass art work and especially Tandoor Junction and Uruj Saeedfor the yummy, spicy chicken rolls, cookies and water. Nik Qureshi, Suleiman Hemani, Hisham Syed, for your presence and support. There are so many more who I am sure I am forgetting. Thank You to the Plano Community for your interest and the turn out and Davis Library for providing the venue. This effort would not have bee possible without you Thank You Suraiya Ahmed for surprising me with the beautiful bouquet of roses. It was all worth the effort which went in putting this event together
