The name of Democracy and Constitution are frequently used by our politicians when it suits them. Why the local bodies elections are not held since years as they do not want to transfer the power to local level. Why the election reforms 1985 are not implemented which are now the part of constitution,? Why the list of defaulter was not published by FBR? Why the tax evaders and fake degrees holders are still sitting in Parliament ? why the FIR is not logged for the brutal incident in Model Town, Lahore? is this not a clear violation of constitution. The democracy is not the name of rewarding already privileged people and punishment of poor people.The democracy is where free,fair and transparent elections are held instead of a selection. Forming a Govt and claiming to be the representative of whole nation after getting only 7% votes of total population is not a democracy.
