The new increased toll on Rt1, DE starts August 1st. Curious on how many people will take Rt13 or Rt9 etc. as a alternative. Taking the alternative route may actually help small businesses in those locations. If you use Rt1, it will now cost $12 round trip on weekends to the travel to the beach. I wonder when Deldot will build the infrastructure needed to toll our friends that come to DE beaches using Rt 404, 16 etc. from VA, DC, MD.
