The new member being recognized this week is Bria Imani Rochelle. She is a freshman who pledged AOII. Her major is exercise science and she is from Mobile, AL. When she was asked why did she choose Huntingdon she replied “Id been to many different campuses and all of them seemed so impersonal and business like. When I toured Huntingdon, before the tour was even over I knew this was it because it felt like home. Everyone seemed genuinely concerned about how you were doing.” Bria was then asked about her favorite night of recruitment, which she stated “My favorite recruitment event was philanthropy night because seeing how each sorority impacts others lives made me realize what being in a sorority really was all about.” Since Huntingdon was such a natural choice for her, she has already gotten involved on campus, she is a volleyball player, a member of Leadership Initiative, and in the Experts club. She hopes to soon be a member of Freshman Forum also. Bria was asked what event on campus she was looking forward to most this year and she is ecstatic about Clover Jam and all the fun that is had with the entire student body. The one item she cant live without? “This may sound nerdy, but the one thing I couldnt live without are books. I absolutely hate not being able to read at least sometime whether its for pleasure or and assignment. When I read I feel more in touch with myself and it allows for my mind to expand.” We are so excited to have you in our Panhellenic family!
