The new refrigerator has only one drawback. The top wire shelf in the freezer does not go all the way back to the end of the cabinet space. Thus, items pushed back tend to fall into the endless void to the lower shelf. Not good for full ice trays of water either. Once again, (insert Inspector Clouseau voice here) I have solve-ed the problem. Thats why they used to pay me the big bucks. Two 10 inch by 15 inch by one-quarter inch thick pieces of plexiglass fit perfectly to the left and right of the cold air bump out on the top shelf. Glass doesnt work as, when frozen, it tends to shatter (not good in a food environment). Now, ice trays are handy and secure; food storage area is increased by almost a cubic foot; wire shelving in the middle promotes cold air circulation to keep frozen foods frozen. Success. Im a Calhoun - - I make things happen.
