The next monster for my series Godzilla: The Monster God has - TopicsExpress

The next monster for my series Godzilla: The Monster God has arrived: Baragon. I wanted to go with moles as a reference here since Baragon is a well-known burrower, as it would make sense. I also used elephants, rhinos, bulldogs and subterranean reptiles as references. 2006, 7 years after the infamous Janjira power plant meltdown in Japan. The events of its aftermath became incredibly important later on and would involve Serizawa and my sister as well as two particular American citizens. Back to business. MONARCH had been receiving reports of mountainous holes emerging almost out of nowhere from the ground. They sent me and a young representative named Kenji (who was alongside Serizawa and my sister when they discovered the two Daikiseichu pods in the Philippines years back) to investigate the cause of such massive holes. Donning protective suits, we entered one of the holes, which was located in the wilderness of South America. We suspected a Daikiseichu (known as MUTOs at the time, since we didnt know what they were) was involved with this, but Kenji and myself discovered the culprits handiwork was similar to that of a mole. Kenji tried to make light of the situation and say that he hoped it would not be a carnivorous giant worm like in a 90s B-Movie he saw with an ex-girlfriend once. As slightly annoying and unfunny the joke was, I hoped that it was not one of those things or something like them. With our Geiger counters reaching maximum radiation estimates, we eventually found our culprit: a giant reptilian mole with a strange horn on its head. The horn seemed to glow whenever the beast pumped radiation into it to serve as a temporary light source. It had large, elephant-like ears that flapped when the creature was too hot. We were compelled to leave before it saw us and put us on the menu, especially barbecued dinner after I witnessed it using a strange type of radioactive fire from its mouth. Baragon, as Kenji called it, belongs to a race of subterranean creatures from the radioactive Late Permian world. The Baragons served as population control essentially from what we could guess, as they seemed too small to attack anything as large as Godzilla. My theory is that the Baragons devoured the offspring of Daikiseichus, Gojirans, Rodans and other animals if they were overbreeding, using a short-ranged napalm like radioactive fire breath to cook their meal to make it easier for them to swallow. Of course, many Baragons died living this lifestyle, torn to shreds by the furious parents of the particular offspring. As a result, a small population of Baragons dug deeper into the earth itself and sustained themselves on radiation and rocks since then. Baragon does have some usefulness to it. Wherever it digs, it removes dried up ground and forces up new, fresher soil for generations of plants and trees. For this reason, the creature was granted amnesty. Besides, there were far worse creatures to worry about.... There. What do you think, guys? Next time, a deceased enemy that was killed in 1954........ Shinomura!!!!
