The one thing I think Africans and other marginalized people have been saying for over a century now and the dominant race-class does not, or pretends not to get is-- WORLDVIEW. How we see the world is not how they see the world. What they call balance, human rights, justice, and truth is not necessary how we see it. They struggle to give value to the non-White worldview. It is almost like we ONLY become valid , notable, respectable, when we adopt theirs. And this obviously includes standards of beauty.
