The only option left for Gov Sullivan Chime of Enugu state is to join APGA. Deputy Senate president, Chief Ike Ekweremadu backed by the presidency and PDP national leadership has hijacked PDP structure in the state. During the House of Assembly primaries in Enugu state, Chime and his group were humiliated. Most of his loyalists who are serving House of Assembly members had to abandon Chime and ran to Ike Ekweremadu in order to get ticket. Some of them were seen kneeling down and begging DSP to forgive them. Report has it that Ekweremadu told them to go to the venue of the primaries as tickets are not given in his house. It is clear Chime has lost out, most importantly, his loyalists who wish to contest 2015 election, are now dumping him, and running to reconcile with Ekweremadu group. Chime should join APGA now, than face humiliation as a sitting governor.
