The only reason Wellington would or does look bad is because everybody and their grandmother made a post/tweet about it. About how they are PERSONALLY ashamed of those individuals, and how those two people have destroyed the reputation of the entire city of Wellington, how they are so sorry for such trash, yada yada yada..... If you dont lend any value to what they said, their comments wouldnt have gone anywhere. You would have just said (to yourself) wow, what a bunch of idiots., and left it at that. But because some people decided to throw a hissy fit over a couple of foolish statements, it just spread like wild-fire. According to anything ive read, thatd be something you wouldnt want to spread, because it was so shameful. Just a thought? And as of last year, there were 7,797 people in wellington. If anybody really thinks that people are taking the words of a couple teenage boys seriously to the point where they alter their opinion on the entire city (or even just the high school) theyd be mistaken. I wasnt going to say anything because really, it doesnt affect me, does it? But i could only take so many DAYS of seeing the same resentful message. Even still, what does my opinion really matter? It just makes me feel better, i guess.
