The only type of show I miss from cable TV is the cooking genre. Netflix has added some of my favorites, like Alton Browns Good Eats. I am trying to watch Rachel Ray, but she lacks sophistication. For her show five meals in a day one would need three sub-zero refrigerators, a massive pantry, and countless pots, pans and utensils to actually do what she suggests. I am trudging through them, since I am starved for culinary inspiration. She bangs every spoon on every pot...throws salt over her shoulder, and has nicknames for everything. Once she said, you wanna get your vag, all sweaty and hot, cook until wet. I almost threw up, until I realized she was saying veg for vegetables.
