The other day Claude Alvares mentioned in a post on Dr Dattaram Desai how they were successful in throwing out Thapar Dupont from Goa. As part of the post he also mentioned that not only did Dupont leave Goa, they stayed away from Asia. Here is the link to confirm that not only did they set up the plant in India, The plant continues to run in India, albeit since sold to SRF.
