The other day, I was talking with my mother,Helen on phone, she told me that she is so surprised by the words from my mouth, she described me as a say-doer, a go-getter, a pre-visionary and a fearfully obedient child. She reminded me that I started confessing to the idea of writing a book as early as at 4th class of my elementary school, when I noticed a lot of tribulations attached to our lives then. In her words, nothing is a lie neither exaggerated, thats the pure truth. Im a man of my own words,a man who believes in what comes out of his lips, I live in my own words, and I will be what my tongue through my spirit within me has always confessed, when I do something, I give it too much attention, I give it all of me. In my book, Tears Of Joy, as you peruse through the pages,you will learn great lessons about the the power of the tongue, with several illustrated examples from my own life, you will find out that most of all the things I had and have achieved, were once mere words, addictively thought and crazily desired by my mind and heart respectively. I dreamed them and they happened, I said it and it happened, I desired it and I had it, I imagined it and I did it that way, therefore if I want it, it cannot slide away from my hands. It tells you that if indeed you seriously want something so bad, you will get it and if you dont 100% then you will get 99%of it. What do I mean? I mean that youre your own words, if you say mathematics is a difficult subject, indeed it will appear as you said, you will never dare to tackle even a simple expression that can be tackled by the eyes alone, defeat started right at your own mouth when you declared that it is difficult for you. Change the way you think about yourself, change your attitude, if you do, then you are the worlds next great surprise. Just declare that you will go to the moon and build a castle there, say it, even if how impossible it looks, He was not wrong or out of His mind when He said that with faith, as little as a bustard seed, you will command mountains to move, and they will fearfully move. I have not lived for so long, but the little I have, I have come to learn something about the two words, defeat and failure. I found out that Defeat is worse than failure, with defeat, you are completely overthrown but with failure, you can try again every time you fail, there are a lot of try-again-chances attached to Failure than to Defeat. Though, you cannot change your past, neither can you change the pathways you have taken to where you are now, but you can change your future, you can change your destination, just take a blend of faith and action, believe me you, you will get where you want to be. Though, remember, sometimes getting there is not that easy for all of us, nothing comes easy, it takes much practice and great patience. There are a lot of negative forces and challenges, but all those are meant to strengthen us but not to weaken us. My school motto once read as Determination knows no barrier that motto is my soul mate, my walking stick to date. For instance, always have it on your mind that when you get bigger, your friends turn against you but what matters is how carefully you watch out for your friends than you watch out for your enemies. I know when I talk of friends, some of my true friends may raise eye brows for no apparent reason, what I mean is that not all friends can be of this nature, your friends with this vice could be your blood relatives who should support you but instead always get nuts every time you struggle to climb up the ladder of success, they always want to derail you and see you helplessly down on the ground. Keep watch but dont quit, my 2nd high school head teacher,Mr Shem Migosi, always told me that winners never quit and quitters never win. All the best friends.
