The outward display of remorse without the inward conviction of the heart accomplishes naught but the occupation of passing seconds. Even we, who are human can sometimes tell when an apology is heartfelt and a genuine expression of repentance, and I wager any one of us would value more a quiet, sober admission of a wrong done with true intent to reform than copious tears and blubbering that are only useful for the moment for which it lasts. Daddy feels same... It is evident when He says "So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm." Tears are fine, but if you must shed them, let them mark a divine resolution to do better. His grace is sufficient. Bless you
