The papacy was also responsible for the massacre & current disregard for native americans.. as soon as word traveled back to pope Alexander that Colombus had gotten to Amerika, the pope issued to Portugal & Spainard monarchs the same decree that had been issued to all non-christian peoples that they be marauded, their land seized, and enslaved by paperwork that declared the people non-people .. the US government upholds the exact same law invented by the Roman Catholics law of discovery, or some shit like that as their grounds for not honoring any of the treaties that have ever been signed with the native americans.. they are not honored, because they are deemed to be made with non-people.. the church & state are definitely not seperate
