The parliament is not indifferent to the plight of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. All democratic parliamentarians want to give constitutional status to GB. The current setup is administrative. A team of the Senate Human Rights Committee will visit Gilgit on 28-29 April this year to hold discussions with the people and highlight their issues, said Senator Afrasiab Khan Khattak today while responding to my question during a gathering.
