The part most worth reading is the comments section. Keep the nesting boxes clean and gather daily, twice daily if possible. We usually keep our eggs in the gathering basket in a corner by the sink on our brick kitchen floor, which stays cool, and segregate any poopy eggs to wash well and then refrigerate. Usual routine is an initial spray rinsing which will wash any debris away while keeping the protective coating intact, then a thorough cleaning when theyre going to be packed in cartons and refrigerated. If you bought eggs from the grocery store, by all means do keep them in the fridge!
