The past three days have been full of surprises and celebrations, which began on Friday night with the arrival of dear family from down home and a dear friend from across the United States. Surprises continued on Saturday with more family from down home and a party celebrating Don and my 40th Wedding Anniversary. The evening was spent with a lifetime of family and friends...I looked around the room that evening and realized more than ever how truly blessed we are. Yesterday the celebration continued with an early family Christmas, something Ive been wishing for for a very long time. Thank you to all of you who made this all happen...you will never know how much all your hard work and planning is appreciated, and how much I love each and every one of you! And today I celebrate with my husband...and yes, family!...our 40th Wedding Anniversary. 40 years ago, I said I do, and I still do! Thank you, Donald, for sharing these years with me, for being my love, my best friend, the greatest Dad to our two amazing kids. I love you....Swear to God! And also today...yes, Monday!...a surprise day off from work to continue the visit with family! So....have yourself a merry little Monday. I know I will! :)
