The past year was a huge year for me, playing in Nations Cup, France, England, CanAms and New Zealand with the honour of representing my country. None of this would have been possible without the financial and emotional support I have received from everyone. Over 10 years after I started playing, I have finally achieved my rugby dream of being selected for the 2014 World Cup to represent Canada in Paris, France this August. Thank you to my wonderful parents, June Heximer and Tom Kirby , for their undying support through all the ups and downs. Thank you teammates, friends and family for supporting me, playing with me, pushing me, or playing against me and smashing me. Finally, thank you Joshua Mark for still showing up everytime I take off and flee the country for some more rugby, you are an amazing person.
