The pastor keep asking for money, is no longer an excuse for not attending church. You dont have a problem when the waiter gives a receipt, sneaks a tip in from your credit card or serves you a meal thats been dropped on the floor or a meal with salmonella poisoning, e. Coli, botulism and other bacterial illnesses. You walk away each time physically full and spiritually starved, yet you continue to pay. Then when the health problems surface, you seem surprised. Why? You serve yourself, not God, eat genetically modified, fast food, parasitic, pesticide prone food instead of naturally organic, are gluttonous instead of eating healthy in moderation and spiritual food. What was your expectations? Crash diet?a diet that you and I know that wasnt designed to work. Several scriptures instruct Christians to take special care of their bodies. For example, 1 Corinthians:3:17 says, If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. Also, in 1 Corinthians:6:19-20 adds that our bodies belong to God, and that we are to glorify Him in body and spirit. Give the pastor what hes, due and God His 10%, it wont be long before a His Word takes root in your life. Your fatter your spirit becomes the thinner your body becomes. You cant loose weight and keep it off if you dont address the root of the problem. Spiritual malnourishment. Start working the spirit out and the body will reap the benefits. Try it, you wont be disappointed and neither will the pastor!
