The pipeline travels 40 miles through Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom …. ….Through these 10 towns: Jay, Troy, Newport, Irasburg, Barton, Sutton, Burke, Victory, Lunenburg, Guildhall ….Through these 3 natural resource areas: Victory Basin Wildlife Management Area, Victory State Forest, Willoughby State Forest ….And crosses these 16 bodies of water: Connecticut River, Missisquoi River, Beetle Brook, Ware Brook, Black River, Roaring Brook, Barton River, Annis Brook, Sutton River, Roundy Brook, Passumpsic River (East Branch) , Moose River, Granby Brook, Catsbow Brook, Hudson Brook, Umpire Brook Two Vermonters will be bicycling through your town to discuss the Tar Sands Pipeline which could flow near you.
