The plumbing at the farm is almost complete. We used PEX pipe for the entire house which I believe will handle the freezing winters much better. Thanks Kevin Molloy for the idea. I found a small leak in the drain but nothing that will not be easily fixed or cause any trouble. I am also now much more familiar with proper winterization of my plumbing. Next is to put the granite countertops in the kitchen and finish the kitchen. I just received a number of my apple trees and other nut trees I had ordered. I will be spreading clover in one field and will be growing hull less oats as well as some barely for beer making. I am looking forward to seeing what challenges this season has to bring. I am ready for them. I will be getting two queen bees in about month and officially made about 1.5 gallons of maple syrup from 8 trees. I do believe this will be a good growing year for me. I have learnt so much over the last 5 years.
