Christopher Johansson one thing i know about God: He will NEVER redeem anything that has to do with paganism, no matter how much any person wants Him to, and no matter how long any person has been taking part in whatever pagan things. its one thing to not know that Christmas is pagan in origin and to celebrate that holiday out of ignorance, and its another thing to know that its of pagan origin and to continue celebrating it, knowing that its wrong to celebrate it because God said in His Word that its wrong, and of course to drag children into it. Why celebrate the birth of Christ on the same date pagans do? Above all, let us trace the origin of Christmas. Pagans initiated it with different hidden agenda, and through the years some Christians followed the world. Is there an account in the Bible that we are instructed to commemorate Christs birth? None but His death we are instructed to remember. I understand it is hard to resist the temptation not to celebrate Christmas because of the worldly joy of merry making. However if we will to follow the Biblical old christians, no record they celebrated Christmas, or we cant find even the word in it.
