The postal service is struggling due to a bill passed at 3 am by the republicans requiring it to fund its pension plan 75 years in advance in a 10 year period, it was designed to try and make the postal service fail so as to privatize it, which would also result in busting the union, the postal service is the largest unionized employer, and republicans also dont like unions, and in cahoots with FedEx to make them our postal service, also, the postal service has not received a dime from the taxpayer, since 1972.
