The power of a stranger’s note not only boosted Derek Murray’s spirits this week, but also helped boost his car battery. The University of Alberta student forgot to turn off his headlights after parking his car in a residential neighbourhood. When he returned to it hours later, the battery was dead. And there was a note on his windshield. “I noticed you left your lights on,” the note read.
