The press release coming out of the recently held heads of govt. summit in SVG indicated that Caricom heads had agreed in principle to the decriminalization of Cannabis for Medical and Religious purposes. It is now left to the various leaders to go and mobilize their constituents towards a yae or nae. The local minister of National Security(Mr. LaCorbinere) is on the airwaves giving his personal position which we all know already. The minister must realize that this is not his personal decision to make. He is a servant of the people and not their master. This govt will not take on the responsibility of mobilizing the nation in one way or another. the Cannabis Movement of St Lucia has to take that lead in coalaboration with ICAR.Inc to start the process going. The Talk Shows is the first place to start and the people will play their part. The voice of the people is the voice of the most high. This can be followed by some town hall meetings in the rural communities. Bongo Wisely.
