The problem is that Shaka took on a very aggressive schedule.. While this will at times give us all headaches from a lot of tough games. They will be tough games, so our freshmen and sophomores will be tougher come A10 play where it really matters. It will also have them more hardened come the tournament. No need to go all negative and start worrying.. No team can go undefeated and our losses were too a highly ranked and undefeated Villanova (8-0 and ranked #9) and UVA (9-0 Ranked #6), and a ODU that has a RPI of 16.. Guess who is the #1 RPI win was for both UVA and Villanova - VCU. Also look at it this way, we opened the season playing a top ranked Big East team and a Top ranked ACC team.. Two teams once we get to the dance we will very likely have to play if we get deep in the tournament. If anything this was a shrewd move by Shaka. We drop in the Rankings, takes the pressure off, and we get early tough games to learn from. Rather take our lumps now early in the season than in March or February.
