The problem isnt Robert Griffin playing at 90 percent of the level - TopicsExpress

The problem isnt Robert Griffin playing at 90 percent of the level he performed at a year ago. Its Brandon Meriweather arm-tackling Peyton Hillis. Its David Amerson and Bacarri Rambo being stretched into meaningful roles as rookies before they prove that they arent ready. Its Perry Riley chasing after an endless stream of quicker tight ends. Its Tyler Polumbus starting at right tackle. Its the fact that the team is so hard up for talented depth that it cant afford to bench Fred Davis, who started for the injured Jordan Reed on Sunday despite the rumors that hes been skipping out on team meetings for weeks. Its the big deals for Stephen Bowen and Adam Carriker and Josh Morgan and Santana Moss and, yes, for Garcon and DeAngelo Hall, complementary players stretched as no. 1 guys at their respective positions. Bill Barnwell is my favorite football writer and he really nails what is (and will be) ailing the Skins.
