The problem with puppies and little boys is they are constantly getting into trouble together. Last week, when I was was having a hard time because of my disease, the boys and puppy did nothing but cause trouble because they could sense my weakness. Clean and folded laundry was dragged out and strewn all over the house, toys were everywhere, and the puppy was treated to an entire box of treats while I was lamely trying to pick up after them. Now, today, when I am feeling relatively ok, they are behaving nicely, except for that damn puppy who has figured out how to open the door to the laundry room.
