The prophet (peace & blessing of Allah be upon him) said: He who loves my Sunnah has loved me, & he who loves me will be with me in paradise. Sunan Tirmidhi no.747 & Saheeh at-Targeeb no.1041. Stick to my Sunnah & the Sunnah of my rightly guided Caliphs, cling to it firmly with your molar teeth. Beware of newly invented matters, for every new matter is an innovation & every innovation is misleading. Musnad Volume 4, page 126 & Sunan Tirmidhi no.2676. The most truthful of speech is the book of Allah & the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, & the most evil of things are those which are newly invented & whoever innovates anything in to this matter of ours (ISLAM), that is not part of it will have it rejected. Saheehul Bukhari no.2697. Do not exaggerate in me, as the Christian exaggerate about the son of Merry (Jesus Christ). I am only a slave, so say a slave & the messenger of Allah. Saheehul Bukhari no.3445. Beware of exaggeration, for those before were destroyed due to exaggeration. Sunan Nasaai no.2863.
