The rain will move out around noon today. This and the thick cloud over will keep the air mass stable through much of the afternoon. But as the cold front and associated trough press east, storms are expected to develop to our west and slide east this evening into overnight. It looks like yet another event that could happen very late at night as morning clouds/rain tend to really put a huge lid on anything to develop. Also have questions to how severe this activity will be and it could end up being just heavy rain if trends of choked instability continue. Stay tuned for further updates throughout the day.
