The reaction to TUG is truly amazing and humbling. When I first wrote Tug, he was a side character that was developed to lighten the tone of Irreparably Broken. From the first group of people to read IB, Tug became so much more. The emails and messages started hitting my inbox with a showing of support for Tug. Some of you were angry and felt like he was the hero, and he deserved the girl. I admit, I was shocked. Brady was my hero, and yes, there were plenty of Brady fans, but the Tug fans truly surprised me. You all showed up in numbers. Tug was my dorky, funny little brother that I adored, but I didn’t anticipate that anyone else would. You did, and you made sure I knew he needed more. This feeling grew in intensity throughout Irreversible Damage until some of you were down right pissed (in a good way, of course). So, I decided a third book in the series (Irrevocable Trust) was in order. Only as I wrote it, I realized Tug’s story was not an extension of the series. That the series belonged to Brady and Tori and Tug deserved his own story, and as such TUG evolved. I wanted TUG to be for everyone, whether they had read my series or not. He was finally out of the Brady and Tori shadow, and my only question was if people would “get” him if they had never read the Irreparable Series, but you all have. And it’s been incredible. Thank you.
