The realist and the visionary!!!!!!, There is no limitation in what we can become, we are only limited, not by our abilities, but by our vision.There are only two kinds of people in this world, the realist and the visionary. The realists know where they are going, while the visionaries have already been there. You all have a free gift of creative imagination; you can use it to envision yourself in a good or bad situation. I want you to learn to travel ahead of time in your mind’s eye, firstly, see what you want to become. We have to see it before we can shape it into reality; even God saw the world first before it was even formed. All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible. A vision is the bridge between present and future reality. As my grand father once stated, If you want to find a needle in a haystack it is almost impossible. Yet if you place a magnet on the edge of the haystack, the needles jump out. A vision is that magnet that attracts people and resources. My mother keeps laughing how God keeps embarrassing me and my brothers in a good way. The power in casting a clear vision is that it attracts necessary resources, it gives you a motive and direction, and it re-evaluates your direction in light of the vision. People may not see what is driving you but your actions begin to move towards and in line with that vision. Always remember vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others. Don’t cast a vision depending on your current state; most likely that vision will be poor and small. Cast a vision using your faith, if your faith is small, then aim at making it grow, which should be your on-going project. A vision is the beginning point for leading the journey. A vision focuses. A vision inspires. A vision is your alarm clock in the morning,your caffeine in the evening. A vision touches the heart. It becomes the criterion against which all behavior is measured. A vision becomes the glasses that tightly focus all of your sights and actions on that which you want to be tomorrow–not what you were yesterday or what you are today. The focus on vision should discipline you to think strategically. Always remember that the vision is the framework for leading the journey. How far can you see?
