The reason law was given... Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. (Romans 5:20a NKJV) The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. (I Corinthians 15:56 NKJV) And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements (law) that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. (Colossians 2:13, 14 NKJV) The reason Grace came through Christ Jesus... Love does no wrong to ones neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law. (Romans 13:10 AMP) But where sin (because of the law) increased and abounded, grace (Gods unearned favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded, (Romans 5:20 AMP) For if because of one mans trespass (lapse, offence, sin) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [Gods] overflowing grace (unearned favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life THROUGH the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). (Romans 5:17 AMP) Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words. For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ. (Colossians 2:4, 5 NKJV) Have a Great Day!!!
