The republican is 26 percentage points behind in the polls with just three days until the election. He cannot win. The Incumbent democrat (who will likely be indicted for tampering with the Moreland Commision) has successfully parlayed the tax dollars he collected from us into bribes (ex. Start Up NY, Billions For Buffalo, election year family income tax rebates, Technology Bond Proposal for Schools, Corporate Welfare and a variety of grants to municipalities across the state) into an election day landslide. Ironically, the republicans support most if not all of the same vote buying schemes and happily employ them when given the opportunity. I recommend voting for neither of these shameless panderers. Howie Hawkins (Green Party) and Michael Michael McDermott (Libertarian Party) are the only two candidates of true character and conviction in this election. If you believe that a socialist, bigger government approach is what NYS needs, then vote for Howie. If you want smaller government and more personal liberty, then Mike McDermott is your man.
