The rescued animals at Twala live their carefree and happy lives thanks to the wonderful people who support our rescue and rehabilitation project. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our Golf Day where $16 500 was raised. To have had such whole hearted support when times are so tough is so very appreciated - a full field of golfers, every hole on the course was sponsored and a fantastic array of prizes and auction items ALL donated. Thank you to the organisers of St Johns Fair who donated a stand for Twala, and to the volunteers who manned it - the Cilliers family, Sharni Grant and Tracey Groenewald. A very special thank you to the children of Ariel School with whom we celebrated World Animal Day. The children dressed up as their favourite animals and put on a great show that we thoroughly enjoyed. They raised $700 for our rescue project which is fantastic! Thank you Tracey Groenewald for organising this lovely event. Thank you to St Johns College for supporting us by purchasing our beautiful Twala disc holders. And thank you to Jenni Ferguson, Waste Away, the Beckley family, Andrew Sarsfield Hall, Hukuru, Fruit and Veg, Enid Graver, Joanne and Mark Lubbe, Merle Taylor-Freeme, Chris and Neve Wade, The Twenty Four Hour Vet, Sherrol Delia, Lorraine Thomas and Mike Wedlock for constant and generous support.
