The retail outlets have had a horrible year, its no surprise the economy is bad. If they dont make the money up between now and DEC 31, their stocks will drop. Using this information, understand that the stuff they are selling will only get cheaper as the season goes by. They have to get rid of it, sometimes at a loss because they bought it and they will have to store it which even costs more money. As they see their market share drop the prices drop also. I dont think a 3-D TV is worth stabbing someone for. Pardon my cynicism and pragmatism but we all might need the money for rent, insurance, food or clothing. Is a human life worth less than a 3D TV? Power bills are going to go up due to the closing of all the coal plants. How is your budget? Do you have an extra 80 to $200 per month to keep up with the monthly bill? (Averaging) As a friend that is an economist told me 20 years ago: It isnt how much you saved, show me the $100 you saved on that purchase. You cant because it is spent money, not at all saved. Thats what the retailer wants you to think, you saved. The bottom line is how much you spent.
