The secret is out !!! We had a surprise 60th birthday meal for Derek last night at The Butternut Squash . Keith and Kay and their super team did us so proud . No wonder they are rated where they are on Trip Advisor !! Derek kept asking how was it all done and he never had a clue ..... Teamwork and planning 14 of us had a terrific meal and shocked in a happy way one very stunned Derek. All our best pals joined us to celebrate. Pink bubbly for a toast and we were off . Derek thought we had a wee conveyor belt as lovely pressies kept on coming. Just when he thought it was all over a big cake appeared and you know what happed next ...... The fact I ended up wearing half the icing will go unmentioned. The food was superb and judging by the empty plates well enjoyed ! Service and banter faultless xxxx Never laughed so much in a long time . Thanks to Sarah Reid and Ray Turrell for bringing your cameras . No doubt evidence will be posted . Thank you every well loved pal that was there . Derek , Ill never keep a secret from you again and no , we are not getting divorced as was promised LOL !!
