The source website is a bit dubious but the video seems completely genuine. Maybe not cold blooded murder; but certainly not far from it. Cops not in any danger at any point - get out of the car to confront (a reportedly mentally ill) guy who I think had a knife, although its hard to make out. He was moving toward them, daring them to shoot him, but not charging, and still some distance away. They both got out of the car with guns drawn - no attempt at all to use pepper spray or tasers. This happened a couple of days after the shooting in #Ferguson Should be legally mandatory for cops to wear shoulder cameras that are always on, and to the greatest degree technically feasible, sync over the internet to prevent destruction of the evidence (maybe wirelessly update to a hard drive in the cop car which in turn cellular networks to back up to continuously transmit a low res version). Every time evidence like this emerges, on top of dismissal and criminal charges for the offenders and punitive compensation paid by the police force to the victims, maybe their entire division/station should also suffer severe penalties. Get the good ones cracking down harder on the trigger happy types before it reaches this point, by making them a risk to all their friends and colleagues.
