The speed of light is 300.000 kilometres per second. It doesn’t matter if you as the observer stand still, move backwards or forwards the light will always move away from you with the exact same speed (if you move very fast you would be traveling in time which is not a constant). MIT has managed to develop a technology that captures light with one trillion exposures per second. Here you can see a beam of light moving slow through a cola bottle.
