The statistics speak for themselves. I was always told if you cant make it on 40 hours and have to work a lot of overtime to make ends meet, go back to school and get a GED, diploma, or degree. Or even get trained at vocational or trade school to learn better skills to get better paying jobs. America is still the land of opportunity where hard work, putting ideas into action, and thrifty spending will open the doors to where you wont have to beg, borrow, steal, or depend on government hand outs to pacify a life of easy living with no hope for advancement. Due diligence and hard work will pay off in due season. Laziness will cause the house to decay and eventually fall. Read proverbs in the Bible and may it open you eyes to wisdom, having more than enough, and many blessings.... if you heed the wisdom shared by God through Solomon and others. God blesses those who are not afraid of working. The poor we will have with us always Jesus said. The Bible also says if you dont work you dont eat. Thank God for His mercies where He has mercy on the hungry and little children. Dont lay up in bed or the couch and expect prosperity to know on your door. You have to go out, seek, knock, ask God in faith, and the doors will open in due season if one does not give up. Most of us have walked the broad path of life and found it to be destructive. Those who have chosen the narrow path proceeding from the throne of God have found Daddys ways are far better than anything we could have imagined. Christians be generous with Gods blessings on your life, but with a balance of what the Word says. Owe man nothing but to love one another. The Holy Spirit will reveal the meaning of this as He is the Spirit of truth. Chavez took the wealth of the rich and dispersed it to the poor in Venezuela, which led to waste, disaster, and even more extreme poverty to the people. Lenin, Mao, Stalin, Castro, and others tried this socialism experiment leading to communism and brought their countries down and into poverty with extreme sad side effects. Instead of sitting on the duffs, crying woe is me. we ought to stand up, shake the dust off of our pants, and look life square in the face, and say.... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. God never fails even though the ideas of mankind have many times lead to failure and misery. A few may fly out of the cuckoos nest and make it big, like Frank Sinatra, Steve Jobs, and Oprah.... but they worked diligently and some with faith to get to success Unfortunately some of those fell into the snare of the verse warning all... What profit is it if you gain the whole world? Solomon summed it up when he said all is vanity, of course he was in a backslidden state when he feebily uttered this. But when he repented and came back to God, he had a different attitude. 12 But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body. 13The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. 14For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:12 God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20 Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you..... God never fails. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Follow Him in faith and your life will take off beyond your wildest dreams. God bless you all......
