The story of every video game ever. Studio gets founded with industry veterans with high hopes of establishing itself as a creative force, makes deal with game platform company, game platform company undergoes a reorg, the team that negotiated the original deal go away and a new team come in who want to do their own new thing and reneg on the deal, the studio ports to another platform to keep from going under, survives but fails to establish itself as a new creative force in the industry, raises enough money for an extension pack on Kickstarter but not enough for a sequel, finds an investor who is the one guy on the entire planet investing in video games, starts working with a new publisher who publishes small video games that arent worth bigger publishers time, games that will probably make millions of dollars, but not hundreds of millions, and ... then this story gets written so thats about as far as it goes.
