The successful bid on the little beach Fun in the Sun was Colin Knight from Ipswich UK which just happens to be one of my favourite place to get material. In fact the cover formy book Romantic Oil Painting Made Easy was done just outside Ipswich ...so there! Ill go there in the next 12 moths and revisit the scene and maybe just do another painting in the same spot even though the original was done about 20 years ago! Colin might join me he said. Anyhow Colins painting has gone along with the valuation letter from me and the decication on the back. Thers another painting coming up...its bigger because I didnt have a small stretcher at hand...! I think its about 10 x 14 inches...quite big as I wanted these to be sort of non-gallery important paintings. Itll be up soon as Graeme my son finds the time to do it. Now heres what Ive started today. Not big. Lets see what I can do with then especially the second one which looks a bit like a dogs breakfast!
