The term Negrita or Chinita were terms of endearment in my country. You need not be Black or Chinese to be bestowed with these nicknames. Now I see it different, a form of passive aggressive racism. Regardless, I loved to be called Negrita or Chinita as a child. I never liked being 100% European ancestry finding mixture so much more beautiful and exotic.
