The thing is, Divergent isnt a love story. The whole plot isnt about how Tris and Four is going to fight for their love. The entire movie franchise ruined the dystopian concept by focusing so much on Theo James abs, eyebrows, husky voice, and scruffy face (not that Im complaining tho heehee because I was enjoying it). I think the problem was they had to condense the events into an hour (or more) that they missed so much. A non-reader would never understand how the system works by just watching the movie, hell be settling with Divergent as another sweet flick with a pound of action and a touch of Ellie Goulding. The movie is supposed to bring forth a new wave of genius, it was supposed to give life to an idea intuited by a very brilliant mind. There were so many things from the book that could have dropped the jaws of millions of people, if only they deliberated more on the geeky stuffs than the kissy kissy.
